Corey S. Lancaster Director of IT Security Services, Practice Lead CenturyLink
Mr. Lancaster is the Director of IT Security Services, Practice Lead for CenturyLink’s IT Security Services Division. He is responsible for developing CenturyLink’s IT Security Services Practice from the ground up, specifically in the areas of Security Consulting: Managed Security Services, Professional Consulting, Penetration Testing, and Risk & Compliance. While holding the title of Program Manager at USAID, he managed thirty-three (33) separate task orders simultaneously. Prior to that, at an elite branch of the U.S. DoJ, he was as a Deputy Program Manager working on a $135 million dollar contract managing eighty-three (83) “Certified” Information System Security Officers nationwide. Mr. Lancaster specializes in Cyber Security compliance, risk management, and contract management. While working in downtown Baghdad, Iraq he was part of a critical IT infrastructure team that stood up the Green Zone’s IT communications center from the ground up. Mr. Lancaster spent 10 years of his experience leading troops in the United States Air Force, while building combat aircraft, such as the F-111 and F-15. Mr. Lancaster has a unique and diverse 21+ years of industry experience: 14 years of Federal IT Consulting, 11 years of Cyber Security under FISMA and DOD guidelines; and 20 years of managing staff. Lastly, he has a Master’s Degree in IT Systems Security Management, which compliments his Business Administration focused Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management. Both degrees were obtained from Colorado Technical University with honors. He should be considered a strong technician with considerable sales and soft skills.
